Installation issues with TeeChart v8

HELP PLEASE

I have just installed Teechart v8 for BC6 using the auto installer.

I now get the following errors when I run BC6:

First..
Can't load package ..TeeChart Standard 804 for ..DclTee8C6.bpl
Cannot load package Tee8C6. it contains "Teeconst" which is also contained in package tee60.

Then..
This application has failed to start because DclTee8C6.bpl was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Also if I drop a Chart on a form, I get a link error:
Unable to open TEERESOU.RES

So presumably none of my applications with the standard BC6 TChart component will now build?

I have uninstalled then re-installed... same results.

Hi E Mann,

I've seen that. It seems that doesn't uninstall TeeChart std v4 that comes with the ide and it causes a conflict when it tries to add TeeChart v8 to you palette.

Try to solve it doing the following:
1. Close any opened project: File/Close All
2. Go to Project/Options.../Packages
3. Uncheck "TeeChart Components" (that's the old TeeChart std v4)
4. Then you should be able to check all other TeeChart check boxes (v8 )

If you still find problems with it, revise your IDE's search path and library path at Project/Options.../Directories-Conditionals...
