Region tool suggestion

Hi Helpdesk,

I'm looking at the region tool.
As the tool is currently implemented it is used to fill some area between a horizontal line (mostly the bottom axis or a origin) to the bondaries of a selected series.
What i'm missing is a kind of which axis to use property. The aim is to make a filling from a vertical line possible or from a certain axis.

I'm realising this is not a question or bug report but more a suggestion.
