Hi,
We had observed, working with TeeChart ActiveX v8, that there is a maximum number of series to show before the app becomes slower.
We have included 500 line series in a plot, which is a lot, but we have had an apparent application hang over.
We need to find other ways to show the information. In the middle time, could you answer if maybe newer versions of TeeChart ActiveX v8 might manage better such a great quantity of information?
Tks,
JAV

Re: Maximum lines to display in a plot
Hi JAV,
The drawing speed depends on many factors from the chart settings (axes grids, labels, 2D/3D,...) and the number of points to be drawn to the machine specifications.
Some interesting tips to consider can be found in the demos under "All Features\Welcome !\Speed" and also in the Real Time article here (it is a VCL article but the majority can be easily translated to VB/VC).
