Annoying operation error in BCB6

Post by Thomas Klingler » Mon Sep 13, 2004 3:24 am

To whom it may concern,

I am having a problem getting TeeChart 7 to operate properly. I am running Win XP, Borland C++ 6.

After the install completes and starts to compile code made by previous TeeChart version. Compile was successful, but there happened an error when I used the function of TeeChart.

The error is

"Project Project1.exp raised exception class EAccessVilolation
with message 'Access violation at address 0044F600 in module
'Project1.exe'. Read of address 00000000AD'. Process stopped. Use
Step or Run to continue"

I think I overcomed the problem that BCB referred old teechart version.
......
I don't know why this kind of error happens again.

Please help me..

Hi Neil,

does this only happens running project made with an old Teechart version ?
If so, make sure your projects still not referencing to any old TeeChart packages.
