OCX and Colour settings in TeeChart4

Post by Magnus » Wed Dec 10, 2003 7:30 am

1. The OCX

I am using TeeChart in a multi server Web environment, TeeChart.OCX is situated on our Application server. To be able call TeeChart from our Web server we had to create a DLL Wrapper around the OCX.

I want to be able to call TeeChart without the wrapper.
Anyone have any any suggestions? How come there is not a DLL version of TeeChart?

2. The Colour setting in Windows

If the server running TeeChart.OCX has a screen colour setting with 256 colours instead of High or True colour the colour of the JPEGs created are affected and really worsened.

Is there a way to create JPEGs without being affected by local screen settings?

Hi Magnus,

#1- TeeChart.ocx may be accessed directly via serverside scripting such as ASP or PHP. A DLL version of TeeChart is a possibility but isn't availabloe at present.
#2- There's no way that I know of.
