DBChart Not Working

Thank you for your reply.

I know the procedure for attaching a table or query. I have been using TeeChart dbChart for over 5 years. It is just not working now. I have never had this problem before. This is the first time I tried the DBChart with Delphi 2005. The dataset is on the form and I created a series but when I go to select the dataset for the series the list is blank. I reinstalled TeeChart 7.04 but nothing changed. I did receive and assembly for Tree.reg not installing. Can you suggest anything I can try?

For information on how to use TeeChart with databases I'd suggest you to
have a look at "Tutorial 8 - Database access". You will find the tutorials
at the documentation folder at TeeChart program group.

It's a confimed bug, up from 7.02 i think.

Still not fixed. Very annoying.

Hi,

As Dirk says, I've found this is a bug we found earlier this year and hasn't been fixed yet. However we have increased it's priority rating so that to be one of the first bugs fixed for the next maintenance release. In the meantime, the solution is setting the dataset programmatically as shown in the tutorials I mentioned previously.
