Version Compatibility

We are developing a VB app using Teechart7 Pro. However, this client app needs to be installed on a PC that has another application which uses teechart.ocx vs 4.0.
Whenever we install the new application the old application teechart becomes unusable. We have re-registered the version 4.0 teechart and the old app works, but everytime we log out and back in - it doesn't work again.

Is there anyway around this uncompatibility issue, or can you not have two applications on the same PC running different versions of teechart.

Hi Leccy,

make sure the release version of the TeeChart Pro v4 is the v4.0.1.0 which includes some changes to accept multi-version. Once you've installed it you should be able to use other apps. (v5,v6,..) on the same pc.
