Non technical question!

I've just noticed the "TeeChart Java Scroller demo" in your gallery web pages and wondered if the same component exists in the VCL components?

I downloaded the big demo app for TeeChart Pro 2010 but didn't see it mentioned - is there a later version of this demo to show you what's new in the new VCL 2012 components?

Hi,

The ScrollPager Tool is implemented in TeeChart VCL v2012.05.
And the demo for this new tool is actually shipped with the TeeNew sources (shipped with the evaluation and registered binary versions). However, I see we somehow missed to activate it. I've added it in the "New Chart Tools" section. Find the corrected Main.dfm attached.

Is it possible to have both TeeChart v8.08 and the evaluation installed together?

One final thing how much would it cost me to upgrade from v8.08 to 2012?

Hi Bruce,

You can't have two TeeChart versions installed at the same time on a same IDE. However, it's quite easy to change from one version to another one thanks to the TeeInstall utility shipped with the installations:

When you have a version installed, you can run TeeInstall.exe utility to uninstall the component from the IDE and still maintain the installation folders (Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart XX...). Then, you can install the second version in a different path (Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart YY...). This will result in two versions installed in the system, but only one of them being installed in the IDE. Then, you'll be able to change from one to the other just running the according TeeInstall utilities on them.
Keep in mind you have to check the library and search paths each time you change from a version to the other, to make sure the version you want to use is the version being referenced.
