Error Placing QRCHART on Quick Report

When I try to place a QRChart component on Quickreport, I get and error box with "A field or method named GridBandTool1 already exists".

I use Teechart 2010 for Delphi 7 and quick report Version 5.02.

In previous trials it was working fine, so I know the installation was good.

Even when I start with a blank form and a plain report component I have the same error.

Any ideas please.

Hello Ed,

Do you get the same GridBandTool error with a new simple example project, without any GridBandTool on it?
I can run a new simple example project with a QRChart with a GridBandTool (Delphi 7, QuickReport 5, TeeChart v2011.03). Find it attached.

I get the error with new form. Nothing on it but the Quick Report component.
It is strange, It worked fine before!

Hi Ed,

It's probably due to remaining old references.
I'd recommend you to uninstall TeeChart and QuickReport, clean the IDE and restart the installation following the instructions in the QuickReport article from zero.

I have uninstalled TeeChart, Quick report and Delphi already three times and same result.

I will have a friend try again!

Hello,

I'd recommend you to reinstall the TQRChart packages.
Here there are the packages that work for me with Delphi 7, TeeChart v2010.02 and QuickReport 5.
Could you please confirm you are using the same exact environment?
