Error msg: "Can not email TeeChart. Mapi Error: 1"

Hi!

I'm using TeeChart VCL v7 under Windows 2000 SP3 + Outlook 98 and I have a problem when using export to email.
If I close the outlook email window without sending the message, I get the exception : "Can not email TeeChart. Mapi Error: 1".

Do you have an idea of what is happening ?

yes, it's a known bug, already added on our defect list. A fix for it will be considered to inclusion for the next releases.

We are currently finalising the details for releasing v8.04. Our intention was to fix this issue (TV52013270) but we can not reproduce it anymore. When v8.04 release is out, would you be so kind to check if you can still reproduce the problem at your end and let us know about the results?

We're investigating this but I've seen some comments in msdn doubting if the MAPISendMail function is still supported in Win7.

This is indeed running on 7 (Windows 7 x64 Service Pack 1 build 7601).

Hi,

In a Win7 machine here, the Send button seems to do nothing (I don't see any error message) but if I debug, I see the MAPISendMail function returning 1: MAPI_E_USER_ABORT (even if I don't seem to have cancelled anything).
In a Win XP machine, it seems to work fine.
I've added it to the defect list to be further investigated (TV52016363).
