Fast series XLS export: Is there a way to include titles?

Post by susi » Mon Feb 08, 2010 1:13 pm

Hi,

I have a chart, it contains several fast line series with different titles (i.e., "series 1", "series 2", ...). I'm able to export the data into an XLS file using the chart editor dialog. However, checking the "Header" - checkbox in the "Include"-box in the "Data"-tab of the "Export" tab in the chart editor dialog doesn't behave the way I want it to behave: it includes a meaningless caption ("Y") in the first row for each column in the XLS file instead of the actual title of series of the corresponding row, i.e. I want to see "series 1", "series 2" in the first row of the XLS file! How can I do that? I'm using TeeChart Pro v8.06.60902.

Regards,

Susi

Hi Susi,

I'm afraid this is not possible for now. I'll add your request to the wish-list to be considered for inclusion in future releases.

There is not even a workaround?

Hi susi,

The only workaround I can think of for now is manually inserting this information into the XLS file. I'm pretty sure there must be examples in the internet on how to edit an Excel file using Delphi or C++ Builder.
