Not necessarily. If AssemblyFolders is correctly set or latest TeeChart.dll registered in the GAC this should be done automatically.

Yes, this is recommended to avoid similar problems.

3, In the client area it is said that the full version is released 30th July 2009, but in the release notes it is stated that the release notes are made 15 October 2009. So it is a newer release than 30th July 2009? This is very confusing for your customers!

Yes, the 15th October is an update build also available at the client area.

4. Why is there also an Update build version on your site? Why is the full version not automatically the latest version?

An update build only contains the new assemblies instead of full documentation, examples, etc.; which comes with the full binary insatller.

5. What should I do to install the latest reliable version?

If you are interested in getting examples and documentation install latest full maintenance release and then install the update build. Check AssemblyFolders are updated or remove them and check the assemblies in your project.

This is true for new projects. However, old project may already have TeeChart.dll copied in their "bin" folder and TeeChart.dll path hardcoded so they may be using older assemblies. In that case you may need to check the assemblies have been updated.
