Configuration Values seem to be lost!

Post by Seth » Tue Aug 10, 2004 8:19 am

Hello,
let's say I hava a graph with 2 series, series0 is based on some data and series1 is based on the trend of series0. I configured this feature at function series -> source series and adjuested some other options. After I save and restore the object, all other option values are seemed to be restored correctly but only the source series configuration values are lost. How can I correctly save source series values?
Many Thanks.

Hi Seth,

which TeeChart Pro version are you using ? It seems to work fine here using the v6.05. I'm able to export to native the Chart which contains two series (line series and Trend function) and then restore it again.

Yes, the two series are displayed correctly. But, if you have a look at Series->Data Source->Source Series, you can see that Series1(trend) is now unselected. This was selected when saved. We also have the lastest version of TeeChart Pro V6.
Many thanks.

To add what I described above, the data for series0 is dynamic, hence series1 changes dynamically as well. We have a customer who uses chart in our product and the time to provide this function is little running out. Hence, I would appreciate it if you can tell me the solutions to this.
Many thanks.

Hi Seth,

I've posted one example in the steema.public.attachments newsgroup ( news://www.berneda.com/steema.public.attachments ) which works fine here using the v6.05. Could you please test it, modify it and sent it to me so I can reproduce the problem "as is" here ?
