Version 8.0.0.4 Italian

I installed the Italian version of TChart 8.0.0.4 and the program I created with it hungs while with the English version works fine.
I checked the OCX in the "TeeChart Pro v8 ActiveX Italian Components" directory and the properties show version 8.0.0.3.

I think this could be the cause of my problems, isn't it?

Hi Paolo,

Did you uninstall old components before installing v8.0.0.4? You could search your windows registry if different TeeChart v8 ActiveX *.ocx files are registered and then unregister old ones using regsvr32 -u as described here.

Hi, I uninstalled the previous versions and then Iinstalled both TeeChart8Activex.exe and the Italian one TeeChartAX8Italian.EXE I just downloaded from your web site.

After the installation in the new created directories, ( c:\Programmi\Steema Software\TeeChart Pro v8 ActiveX Components\ and c:\Programmi\Steema Software\TeeChart Pro v8 ActiveX Italian Components\ ), the English OCX (right click -> properties -> vesrion ) is version 8.0.0.4 while the Italian one shows 8.0.0.3

Hi Paolo,

The TeeChart 8.0.0.4 language versions have been incorrectly loaded on the download page, we have temporarily rolled them back to v8.0.0.3 whilst we resolve the problem. Apologies for the inconvenience. We would not however, expect the version difference to cause a problem for most functionality. Are you using one of the new properties published in the 8.0.0.4 version?

Hi, I am not using any new feature, just updated to versione 8.0.0.4 and compiled the program. When distributing with Italian version it hunged, or may be it took long time - 2 minutes - to draw a chart with even few data (a yearly report with 12 values). Those are the symptoms I could notice before downgrade asap to 8.0.0.3.
