After successfully installation TeeChart8.02 and Quickrep4.07 i need to recompile Tee8QR4D6.dpk and DclTee8QR4D6.dpk (described in install.txt) but i nowhere found it? Where may i get it from?

Hi jangbu,

You'll find the packages included with the binary installer, for example at C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart 8.02 for Delphi 2007\Delphi11\QuickReport.

do you really think it's the right folder? I'm using delphi 6.

Sorry, that was just an example, in that case you should replace indicators of Delphi 2007 for 6, for example:

C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart 8.02 for Delphi 6\Delphi6\QuickReport

Hi Narcis,

sorry, i know it was only an examaple, but i'm using QR V4.07 prof and the "teechart install.txt" described: ..for using qr v4 use tee8qr4dxx.dpk and dcltee8qr4dxx.dpk, but the folder you mean only contains teeqr86.dpk and dcltqr86.dpk described as to use for QR V3?

In that case you'll have to do as described in the QuickReport article at http://www.teechart.net/reference/articles/index.php

ok, but the problem is still the same. Issue 13 at the article says ".. open Tee8QR4Dxx.dpk.." and issue 17 "DclTee8QR4Dxx.dpk" exactly these package files i need to have!

at the path you wrote only 2 files are available: DclTQR86.dpk and TeeQR86.pdk. I'm afraid the description in install.txt is wrong, because only the package files for QR V3 contained at the folder not the desired files for the QR 4 version?

If you have QuickReport v3, open and compile
the following packages, where "xx" means
the number of your Delphi or BDS version,
for example "7" means Delphi 7,
"10" means BDS 2006, etc:

TeeQR8xx.dpk Run-time package.
DclTQR8xx.dpk Design-time package.

If you have QuickReport v4, open and compile
the following packages:

Tee8QR4Dxx.dpk Run-time package.
DclTee8QR4Dxx.dpk Design-time package.

Hi Jens,

Yes, those are the files you should use. And install.txt may not be up to date. I strongly recommend you to proceed as in the QuickReport article I mentioned. TeeChart is shipped with packages for QR v3 because this is the version that by default was included in Delphi.
