I'm having trouble getting any kind of line series to display transparent lines. Searching the forum I see the topic has been touched upon before, but am unclear whether the functionality is intended to be there or not.
I'm using ActiveX v7.0.1.4
Thanks.

Hi Shiver,
There a few options here. Could you please give us some more details about what are you exactly trying to achieve?
Thanks in advance.

I have a live updating chart showing up to 14 lines. They cross each others path a lot, and I'm trying to hilghlight 3 or 4 of them as more significant than others. Currently I do that with changing the thickness of the line, but that obscures other lines. If I could make the less significant ones 'fade to the back' with transparency, then it would make the important ones easier to spot. As one line became more important then it could progressively become more solid.

Paul

Hi Paul,
At the moment line series doesn't support transparency. This is on our wish-list to be implemented for future releases.
In the meantime you could try different gradient combinations for each series to achieve similar effect.
