TDBChart and function series ( like substract etc.)

Hello,
unlike in TeeCahrt v7.07 Pro there is a problem if I try to subtract two series in a DBChart of TeeChart v8.02 ( series 1 and series 2 had the same datasource and the same xvalues). I add a third series with a TeeFunction ( e.g. subtract) at runtime the list with the available source series at the datasource tab of series3 is empty. In TeeChart v7 the list of the source series showed both series1 and serie2.

If series1 and series2 are series without a datasource (e.g. normal data) the list of available source of series3 showed series1 and series2 in TeeCahrt v7 and in TeeChart v8

Can you help me?

Hi Willi,

I'm not able to reproduce the issue here. Could you please send us a simple example project, using DBDEMOS or any other default database, so that we can reproduce the problem here?

Hello,
the main different is I think, if the DBChart is on a client window of a MDI application the source list is empty. This is the reason why . The run time editor start with a click on the popup menu of the chart.

I have uploaded a mdi.zip with the code. Like in a demo before the text file with the data is c:\test2.txt.

Hi Willi,

I've been able to reproduce the problem, it was a bug, I've fixed it for the next maintenance release.
If you're source code customer we can send to you the latest sources, or in the other way, if it's very urgent for you (and cannot wait for the next maintenance release) we can prepare a compiled packages and send them to you.

for us it is much more important to get the maintenance release because we are waiting for other important fixes (e.g. Problems with TSurfaceSeries in TeeChart V8 an Delphi 7: http://www.teechart.net/support/viewtopic.php?t=7245)

Hello,
I can't install the new source files. The Package dclTee87 is ok. But if i install the package dclteepro87 I get always the same error (in german):
Der Prozedureinsprungpunkt "@Tecanvas@TTeeCanvas@ClipPolygon$qqrpx12Types@TPointxiio" wurde in der DLL "Tee87.bpl" nicht gefunden.

I have deleted all old files in the source path and have copied the new tee87.bpl, teedb87.bpl and teeimage87.bpl to c:\windows\system32.

Can you help me?

Are you using TeeRecompile tool for recompiling and installing the sources? Anyway, I've posted current sources and TeeRecompile versions that I checked work fine for me here. I'll send you an e-mail with the URLs.

Hello,
with the new TeeRecompile.exe all packages are installed without any problems. But all bugs still exists. The listbox in the dialog of the subtract data source is still empty.

I have tested today both samples that I have send you in February. In both samples the subtract data source is still empty in run time. In design time the dialog works. The menu of the TChart shows 'TeeChart Pro v8.03.11043' in design time.
