Installation for Turbo Delphi requires default path?

During teeChart Pro v8.02 for Turbo Delphi installation, after copying TeeInstall.exe I also got installation error, quite often discussed on this forum - “TeeChart files to AUTO install cannot be found”. It was not a big problem to me to remove previous version of TeeChart Pro and install the latest v8.02 manually but as always an error during an installation is not much welcomed.
When I ran TeeInstall.exe manually I got message “TeeChart files cannot be found under current folder structure. Current folder: MyUserName\Delphi\TCP802.TP’.
Could it be that reason of error is that I used custom destination for TeeChart files instead of default path “C:\Program Files\...”etc?
PS. It seems TeeRecompile.exe from source code package is quite similar to TeeInstall.exe, however the source code of TeeInstall.exe is not available.

Hi Alexander,

thanks for the advise, we'll do some tests with Turbo Delphi and TeeRecompile tool in order to reproduce the problem and fix it.
Maybe the problem, as you said could be related with custom path selection.
