As a followup - Modifications have been made to TeeChart .NET code to correct the problems related to deserialisation amongst custom serialisation techniques (ICustomSerialization and Serialize/DeSerialize) and a new tutorial has also been added to TeeChart's tutorials to help clarify the solutions proposed.
The changes will be included in the next maintenance update release.
