Delphi 6, Vista 64 bit, Teechart 8.01

I installed Teechart 7.07 on D6 on Vista 64. All worked OK.
Tofday I upgraded to Teechart 8.01, rant the install exe, all appeared OK, but on starting D6 it complained about still having Teechart 7.07 files.

So I uninstalled Teechart 7 and 8 (vi windows), started Delphi and all OK. Installed Teechart 8 and seemed OK. Start D6 and it does not complain, but there is not Teechart on the component palette.

Tools/Options/Libray path has the correct path for Tchart 8.01.

Any ideas please?

Sorted by Project / Options and removing Teetree packages and adding Teechart 8 packages. Something from version Teetree 7 (teeabout) was not happy with the the version 8 stuff.

Hi Sean,

It's most likely that Delphi was still using TeeTree packages included with v7. You could uninstall them and install TeeTree packages included with v8.
