drawing a semitransparent rectangle

Hi

I am trying to draw a semitransparent rectangle using the canvas. I saw that in the .NET version there is a transparency property for the brush however I can't find this property in the activeX 7 version. Is it possible to draw this rectangle in ax7?

Have you tried using a rectangle tool? This tool supports transparency. You'll find an example at What's New?\Welcome!\New Chart Tools\Rectangle Tool - Mouseover hints example at the features demo. The demo can be found at TeeChart's program group.
