Use this sampel -->"C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart for .NET v2\Examples\DemoProject\Series\Map_Series.cs"

If I change number of sample values from 12 to 1000 in DataSource
then maximize the form size,the painted speed is very slow.

How can I improve this performance?
ps.mark is necessary

Hi wilcohsu,

You should look at the TeeMaps example, available at TeeChart's program group and at the path I told you in your other message. This example maps the whole world in polygons as well as it's major cities and is not exactly slow.

I already try TeeMaps example,it's the same Map_Series example.
The redrawing speed is very slow.
You can set visible property of mark to true manually,then
you will see this.

Thanks for the information. I could reproduce what you reported.

We're always improving performance and there is a small performance improvement due for the next v2 maintenance release and more substantial improvements for TeeChart for .NET v3.

It's really very slow when I move or rotate this map.
You can set visible property of mark to true manually for Maps demo,then
you can see this.

Have you reviewed TeeChart for .NET v3 Beta, available at the client area? As mentioned previously, more performance enhancements have been implemented there.

This is already on our wish-list, as I told you before. However I can't give you a fix date of when this will be implemented for now.

BTW: Have you tested TeeChart for .NET v3 Beta available at the client download area? Does this version behave the same way as v2?
