steema.teechart.vcl.design.dll not a Delphi package/assemly

Concerns Teechart 7.05 for Delphi 2005

Installation seems to go smoothly, but when starting Delphi 2005 it comes up with a messages saying that it can not load steema.teechart.vcl.design.dll ; that it is not a Delphi package/assemly

I have retried many times.

After I installed TurboDB 5 from www.dataweb.de Delphi took very long to start but it still worked. I uninstalled TurboDB.

I then uninstalled and reinstalled Teechart and since then this new error message came up. I have tried uninstalling and installing Teechart a few times (TurboDB being uninstalled). I have started with no project or just an empty one (just one empty form). No difference.

It is quite urgent for us to find a solution, development stoped.

Hi MSM,

Can you please try with TeeChart Pro v7.06 which is the latest version available at our Customer Download Area?

BTW: Do you have all Delphi 2005 updates available installed? We strongly recommend that.
