What is the Content of an XML Export?

Can you tell me if I have IncludeData set to false in an export. What is saved? Can it be saved to an xml file? I think I am missing something if you can.

Hi MattHolmes,

IncludeData is a property used for native template chart file format which can be *.ten or a MemoryStream. When exporting a chart to a template file you are exporting all chart settings and you can optionally include series data using mentioned property. For more information please read Tutorial 12 - Exporting and Importing Charts.

Alternativelly you can also save a chart to a theme file, please have a look at the What's New?\Welcome !\New in Chart Themes\Custom Themes example in the features demo.

Can the saved template be saved in XML format? I didn't see that interface?

No, only themes can be saved into an XML file as in the example I pointed in my previous reply.
