Not Redrawing after adding custom axis

Hi,

I have a chart with a few fastline series on it. During runtime I display them on either the same axis or on different horizontal strips on top of each other using custom axis. To adujust the margins on labels for custom axis I have used the GetAxisLabel event of the chart.

But when I add custom axis and associate it with the chart it doesn't redraw itself. I have to either zoom or pan and then it promptly redraws itself. But I want it to redraw and show me the axis as soon as the new axis applied. Could you please help me out?

Hi Gaurav,

You could try using a Bitmap call to force the chart being internally repainted, for example:

Code: Select all

Bitmap bmp = tChart1.Bitmap;

This should be done after applying new custom axis.

Though it takes some time to redraw, I am happy that it atleast redraws when I need it to.
