TeeChart 3.0 freezes

We use 3D contour display of TeeChart. When all data points added to the chart have Y coordinate as 0, TeeChart starts eating 100% CPU and stays in this mode forever.
I have simple application which reproduces an issue, so if you can not reproduce it - let me know how to send you an example.

Hi!

I uploaded the file (TeeChartFreeze.zip) - both sources and executable.
1. To verify you can either run executabel from bin\Debug folder. Start application and click "Load bad data" button.
2. The same should work if you open solution.

Hi Natalia

Have you tried your example with the standard version? Could you see if the issue happens also with it?

Hi!

What do you mean by "standard version"? We do not use any modifications to your component.

Hi Natalia

With "Standard version" we mean the binary version with provided assembly. Your project is quite big and complex for us to debug. Would you be so kind to arrange a simple example project using TeeChart's binary version so that we can reproduce and debug the problem here? For this application you can use random data, it may be not necessary to use "real world" data.

Thanks in advance.

I uploaded TeeChartFreeze.zip which demonstrates the issue - click on "Bad data" button. Now example uses TeeChart control directly.

Hi Natalia,

Thanks for the example project. We could reproduce the issue here and the problem seems to be in contour series as in your other thread. We will do some investigation and inform you when we have some news.

Hi Natalia,

This is a bug with contour series as surface series alone loads data correctly. I've added it (TF02012414) to our defect list to be fixed for future releases.
