Getting Delphi 2005 to work with TChart VCL .NET V7 Source.

We have downloaded the V7.01 source code TChart VCL .NET and have managed to compile the units under Delphi 2005 and install the visual components into the IDE.

Unfortunately if we try dropping a TChart component onto a form we get an error, "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.", pressing OK gives a further error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Also when compiling an existing project with a TChat it compiles OK but fails on the LINKING stage with error "[Fatal Error] F2084 Internal Error: ILLK4471"

Delphi 2005 is now useless to us and have regrettably gone back to D8.

Can we have a fix for this ASAP please ?

7.01 will not work with D2005. You need the latest 7.02 sources (we're just preparing to release it to all registered source code customers). If you'd like to beta test it, contact me directly at "marjan at steema dot com" email address and I'll send you download instructions.
