License File Problem when using TeeChart in a dll

Hi all,

I get a license null reference exception when I deploy my solution including a dialog that uses the TeeChart control to the Test Environment.

I have read in one of the forum threads that this may be related to using TeeChart within a component and not in the main executable / startup assembly.

So I created a license file with the TeeChart entry in the startup project and subsequently also had to reference the TeeChart.dll in that project, because otherwise compilation would fail.

Now the exception is gone... however I would really like to avoid the "unnecessary reference" to TeeChart.dll.

Is there any solution to get the licensing working in a dll without having the licensing info in the startup project?
