Hello.

I'd like to know if adding the "staff" feature in Organizational CHart component is possible. I created This Image by using TeeChart 8 Features Demo.

In the upper part there is the current scenario, in the lower part there is what I am asking for.

I'm afraid that this series could improve a very much being a little bit more customizable. No, it's not possible to do this right now but I've added it to the wish list to be enhanced for future releases (TV52013924).

In the meanwhile, you always can use annotation tools for the texts and the boxes and canvas drawing for the connecting lines.

Yes, please consider that at present NO VCL COMPONENT supports this. I searched TOO LONG FOR IT. Improving this would be great!

Developer Express team doesn't develop their OrgChart component since 2003 (at the time it was the best around) and they never added this feature.

So this staff feature is really needed to create ANY serious organizational chart. Consider adding it and I think many users (and new potential will be very happy customers). I met many Delphi developers totally frustrated by the lack of this "quite obvious" feature.

Of course the possibility of dragging/dropping the nodes with some control on it by the developer is also very welcome!

At the same time, every new suggestion you could think on to improve this, will be very pleased to be studied for inclusion.

Just for clarity, when I said

I didn't mean the lasck of this feature in your new series, but in all the other VCL components out there in the market.

By chance does v2010 contain the Staff feature as discussed in this old post? (TV52013924)

It would be a major (maybe the only) reason for me to upgrade.

so I vote again for this feature. There is no OrgChart component for Delphi, the only one was DevEx that is still usable (I am using it in my application) but it lacks very obvious features.

So if you could add some drag&drop advanced support + staff feature to your OrgChart series it could become the "only" way for doing OrgChart in VCL.
