can you help me locate info on set up of delphi create & view avi files?

I have this --

and

but cannot get through the right steps to get the code to execute.

Is there an existing demo of app that a) creates an avi from a set of sequenced charts and then enables viewing that avi (as a separate op)?

There you'll be able to run them. Also full demo project is included with TeeChart's installation at C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart 8.04 for Delphi 2009\Examples\Features.

item 2, since I do not wish to install all of the 2009 setup, can you tell me where I can access the demo that you mention?

Sorry if my explanation wasn't clear enought but that's not an internet example. You should find the new features demo at the TeeChart program group at, for example: Start menu -> All Programs -> Steema TeeChart 8.04 for Delphi 2009 -> New Features Demo. Once you run the demo you can navigate through its tree to find mentioned examples. Demos and documentation are only included with TeeChart binary installers, not with sourcecode installers.

where is "TeeChart program group"?

You should have downloaded and installed the installer for your Delphi/C++ Builder version from the client download area (the URL you posted). Once you run the installer it will create a TeeChart program group which you can find if you go to Windows' left-bottom "Start" button, choose "Programs" and you should find TeeChart group there. In this group you'll find documentation, tutorials, examples, etc. One of those entries is the new features demo I'm speaking about.

well, I have this now ... the link referenced on my c drive is the same one that I originally sent you (on the net) on this topic!!

my original question stands -- I need help in getting the .pas and
.dfm (there in text) to execute. can you please help me on this?

surely you have this as a demo app (dpr, pas & dfm) that you can send? very frustrating.

As I told you before all examples are availabe at TeeChart's program group as well. There's an Examples entry there which links to the examples sources. Anyway, full demo project sources are available here:

Notice the above is default English installation path for TeeChart Pro v8.04 VCL and RAD Studio 2009.
