lables not drawing on horz axis

I have a bar graph about 12 bars, where not every bar label on the horz axis is drawing ( the bar itself is), they are not evenly drawing either, that is to say not drawing on every other one or every third one, etc. I have set the makrs.Drawevery=1. no joy.
some the the labels have spaces and back slahes ie: rain \ sleet \ hail
I am creating and loading the series at run time.
Teechart version pro 8.01.10798

Hi pbarber,
Series marks are different to axis labels. I recommend you to read "Tutorial 4 - Axis Control". There you'll see how you can setup axis increment. Also, by default, TeeChart tries to plot as many labels as possible provided they don't overlap. Anyway, you can try suggestions
here or use custom labels as in the
All Features\Welcome!\Axes\Labels\Custom labels example at the new features demo, available at TeeChart's program group.

Hi pbatber,
Tutorials can be found at TeeChart's program group created by the binary installers. They are not included with the sourcecode installation.

I do not seem to be able to launch the tee chart users guid and tutorial. I get an error message : can not locate:C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart 801 for Delphi 6\Docs\TeeChart8Manual.chm
searching the drive the file is not there.
any ideas?

Hi pbarber,
Sorry yes, this is a known issue with this version. It has been fixed for v8.03.
In the meantime you can try redirecting the shortcut to TeeChartGuide.chm available at TeeChart's "Docs" folder.
