I am trying to draw some custom text on the chart using v7 VCL. I want it to be part of the "native" export so I cannot use custom paint events... IOW, I want the labels to be persisted and reloadable from the binary tee format. Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance!

You could try using Annotation tools. You'll find examples at All Features\Welcome!\Tools\Annotation.
