Hi all,

I've just installed the VCL 8.01 version into Delphi 6 - all seems to be OK, however I get the following error when I compile and run the Tee8New.exe demo programme:

"Error reading Panel2.ParentBackground: Property ParentBackground does not exist"

Looks like I'm missing a path entry or something?

Any help appreciated.

Hi Ian,

It could be that the property producing the error doesn't exist in Delphi 6. You could try opening the form that causes the error, ignore the missing properties and try compiling again.
