Gradiants and Pie Series in 2d

I have a chart where a user clicks on a stacked bar and it is transformed to a pie chart. The stacked bar is shown in gradient in 2d and 3d, and the pie looks similar in 3d but the gradient does not work in 2d. Can reproduce this pretty simply by changing a chart that has a pie series from 2d to 3d

Is there a reason for this? I would like to maintain a similar appearance.

Thanks,

Edward Dressel

Hi Edward,

Yes, that's right. I've added it (TV52012472) to our defect list to be enhanced for future releases.

Any idea when the next build will be out?

Hi TestAlways,

New maintenance release hasn't been scheduled yet. On September we posted a new version including new gauges. However, the issue you reported hasn't been fixed yet.

I looked and I only see 8.01. I downloaded 8.01 in August. Are yo saying there are new features in a newer 8.01? How would I be able to tell?

Hi, TestAlways!
You should test always  - "silent" update was made on September 14 (AFAIK looking on dates of files in my installation).

I can't afford to test download builds even on a monthly basis :-)

For this I use GetFileSize utility (http://www.browsertools.net/Get-File-Size/index.html), that shows date and time of last modification
