In the change list of TeeChart V8 you are writing:

* Canvas WideString (Unicode) drawtext support

Does this mean that you finally support Unicode labels in TeeChart V8?

No, for now only a method to directly plot Unicode text to the chart canvas has been implemented. That's the only option available at the moment until CodeGear adds full Unicode support in the VCL framework. As you can see in Delphi's roadmap this should be expected for 2008.
