I have TeeChart7.07 and QuickReports 4.06 and Delphi 7
I have successfully installed both and they work ok, however when I can't use the qrchart component. As soon as I try and drop a qrchart component on a quickreport component on a delphi form I immediately get the Access Violation message (at design time!) and then I can't carry on until I close down Delphi7.

This was working before and I have compiled programs using it but I can't recompile these programs or edit the actual forms any longer! Please help. I have reinstalled the packages a number of times without getting any error but the problem is still here!

Since you said this was working before, have you made any change in your environment before start getting this error message?

Thanks in advance.

Hi I am not aware of any changes because there was no need to go back to the report forms. I have tried to re install the latest versions of teechart and quickreports and all recompile correctly.

I am able to drop a qrchart component on a form at design time with no errors. However as soon as I drop the qrchart on a quickrep component at design time I get an immediate access violation as reported above.

Hi,

does this happens on a clean project ? or existing projects ? If so, could you please check if this happens on a clean project ?

Have you tried to remove all the old compiled TQRChart files just to be sure the new ones are used ?

Hi

It worked on a new form and new project! But how can I recover all the existing forms now? I have complex reports with a mixture of data aware fields, headings, etc and the qrchart, so it will be very difficult to recreate them! Do you know what is the problem?

Hi,

make sure the existing projects do not contain references to any old TeeChart packages.
Which TeeChart Pro version you used before ?
