Installation problem - Delphi keeps removing packages.

Hi,

I have TeeChart Pro v6.7. I've just rebuilt my development machine, and I am having issues with getting the TeeChart BPL's to be included as design packages for my project.

In Delphi, on the Packages tab of the Project Options window, I can see two TeeChart design packages: "TeeChart 6 Components" (DclTee67) and "TeeChart Pro 6 Components" (DclTeePro67).
If I tick the checkbox, I can then open forms which have TeeChart components, and everything works fine.
However, when I restart Delphi, and go back into Project Options - those two components always revert to being unselected. So if I open a form with TeeChart components, I get messages about the components being missing.

Any advice on where to start looking?

Thanks,

Dazzer.

Hi Dazzer,

After enabling TeeChart packages you should check the left-bottom "Default" checkbox and accept the changes. That way TeeChart packages will be enabled by default.

Hi Narcis,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried the 'Default' checkbox, and it makes no difference - the two packages are still disabled after restarting Delphi.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks and regards,

Dazzer.

Hi Dazzer,

You should also check that no older TeeChart packages are enabled and that new TeeChart version "Bin" and "Lib" folders are on TOP of the Search Path list at Project\Options\Directories/Conditionals.
