Teechart and Intraweb

I am using Delphi 7, TeeChart 7.04 and Intraweb 7.0.22, TeeChart Pro for Intraweb 7.

When I create an Intraweb form "File - New - Other - Intraweb", I can add an IWChart component without a problem, but I cannot then add a TChart component onto this because the TChart component disappears from the TeeChart Tab, as though it is not compatible with Intraweb.

If I try to copy and paste an existing Tchart component from a standard Delphi form onto the Intraweb form, it comes up with the message
"You have added a non Intraweb form, Tchart." Then "Class Tchart is not applicable to this module" and
the component is not added.

Also, if I run the example provided, it works properly, but I cannot add a TChart component to this either, as the same error appears. Even if I cut and then re-paste the same IWChart/TChart components onto the example form, I get the "you have added a non Intraweb form" error.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

what happens if once you've added the IWChart to the component list, you try to check (active) the TeeChart Pro components ? Does it give you any error ? if so, which one ?
You should be able to see the TeeChart Pro components and IWChart components into the Delphi palette tabs.

I presume you mean under "Component"-"Install packages" and then tick the TeeChart Pro components? If so, there is no warning, and the components install OK. On a normal Delphi form, I can drop a TChart component on them without any problem. If I create a new Intraweb form, then certain non-intraweb components aren't available in the palette tabs, and TChart is one that disappears.

Hi Jools360,

Ok, I guess you haven't installed TeeChart for Intraweb packages which you can get here. You may need to recompile those packages to be compatible with the TeeChart and Intraweb versions you have. You'll find the instructions with the packages.
