it's very weird, but just drop a chart component to bds c++ builder 2006 IDE and add a new TContourSeries to the chart at design time.

Suddenly, the IDE responds weird but not dead, ex click any menu or sidebar, you have to click the form again to make it work.

I tried colorgrid, and surfaceseries, but only happens to TContourSeries, not sure for other 3D series.

Thanks for reporting. I could reproduce the problem here and added it (TV52011342) to our defect list to be fixed ASAP.
