Label positions are different on Depth Right/Top Axis

BCB6 and TC7.05

The labels on the Depth Top axis and Depth Right axis are displayed at different positions relative to the gridlines. This is rather confusing, especially when using the Rotate Tool.
Is this a bug or a property setting matter?

Thanks in advance,

Wiebe

Hi Wiebe,

I'm not able to reproduce it here using v7.06. Can you please test if this version works fine for you?

If the problem persists, could you please let us know the exact steps to reproduce it, send an example we can run "as-is" or send us a screen-shot of the problem?

You can post your files at news://www.steema.net/steema.public.attachments newsgroup.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Narcís,

No change in 7.06

Take the example Tri.Surface-->Tower 3D in Tee7New.exe
Modify it:
- Series1:
-- Increase the z number to 30.
-- Percentages Depth=Width=25
- Make the Depth Right and -Top Axis visible.

Compile and execute:
- Rotate clockwise until you observe the whole scene through the Right wall.
- You'll now see that the labelvalues on the Depth Right axis are positioned at the RIGHT side of the gridline whereas the (same) labelvalues on the (far) Depth Top axis are positioned at the LEFT side of the (same) gridline.
I would expect them both centered to the gridline position.

(When you rotate the scene another 180 degrees, which is an unusual view of course, you'll see the opposite)

Hi Wiebe,

Thanks for the information. I could reproduce the problem here and added it (TV52011351) to our defect list to be fixed for future releases.

Thanks Narcís,

Since, untill then the 3D presentation is not good enough to be included in our application, any idea when it will be fixed?
