Hi

I have a problem with TeeChart VCl v7.02. I wanted to select a zone on my chart, so I tried to use a TRectangleTool. I put the TRectangleTool on the chart in design mode, but as soon as I make it visible in run-time the application frooze ....
Any idea ?
Is it a bug of TeeChart v7.02 ?

Hi Franck,

It works fine here using the latest version. You could download the latest TeeChart Pro v7 VCL version (v7.04) from our customer download area an test if it solves your problem.

If not, would you be so kind to send us an project we can run "as-is" to reproduce the problem here?

For information I tried on another PC (XP SP1 + delphi 7) and it works fine .... but on my PC (XP SP2 + delphi 7) I have the problem..... so perhaps it is due to the SP2 ....
Nevertheless it works with TeeChart v7.04.

I can't send you my project but it is very simple to reproduce it : add a TRectangleTool in design-mode on you graph and just run it .... on my side the graph freeze all the time.

And using v7.04 on the XP+SP2 machine still freezes? Here I'm using Win 2003 Server, I'll try to do some testing with XP+SP2.

Yes, that's what I did and worked fine.

It works fine with v7.04 + XP SP2 (french version).
