This is just some information for you Steema people. I just installed the latest TeeChart VCL version for BCB 6 and when I try to run the New Features Demo from my Start menu I get this error:

This application has failed to start because rtl90.bpl was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Also, I can't find any project file in the Examples or Examples\Features folders. I don't know if there is meant to be some, but it would be nice if there were.

Finally, when I right-click a TChart component, selects Edit Chart... and then Help... I get this message:

Cannot find the \TeeChart7.hlp file. Do you want to try to find this file yourself?

Solutions and good comments are welcome.

Hi Popeye,

I've tried to reproduce this problem here without success. I installed v7.04 for BCB6 and everything is ok, demo, examples, help, etc.

This is the version you are trying to install? Maybe the file you downloaded is corrupt. You can try downloading it again.

Do you have all BCB6 updates installed?

I installed from the file TeeChartStandard7.04Builder6.exe

Isn't rtl90.bpl shipped with Delphi and not with C++ Builder 6? I don't have Delphi installed.

Hi Popeye,

Which BCB6 version are you using? Is it BCB6 Standard version?

Yes, rtl90.bpl is shipped with Dephi 2005 and copied to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32.

I'm using BCB 6 Professional and it seems to me that rtl90.bpl is NOT shipped with BCB 6. rtl60.bpl is what I got in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32. I'm not sure that it is shipped with BCB 6 since I also have BCB 1 and BCB 3 installed, but a good guess is that rtl60.bpl belongs to BCB 6.

If your demo program needs rtl90.bpl it should be in your installation package, if you ask me.

Hi Popeye,

We have replaced v7.04 installers for BCB. The new ones, available at our customer download area, fix this demo problem as well some installing issues.
