Transparent Pointers TPointSeries

Dear Steema Team,

I just updated to the most recent version of TChart VCl with D7 and D-XE3.

Unfortunately the transparent back of pointers do not work any longer. I used to set the brush.Style of Pointer to bsClear or the BackColor to clNone / clDefault.
None of the settings works currently.

I would like to use 2 PointSeries - one for printing little circles - the second series for marking these points with a rectangle which should be transparent.
In earlier versions this worked like a charm.

Any ideas how to solve this ?

Best regards
Christian

Hello Christian,

This is a known bug for us with number [TV52016487] and it is already fixed for next maintenance release of TeeChartVCL. We'll probably publish a pre-release version just for XE4 as soon as possible and a full maintenance release supporting all the usual IDEs a bit later. I recommend you to be aware at this forum, our RSS news feed, twitter and facebook accounts for new release announcements and what's implemented on them.

Thanks,

Dear Sandra,

Thanks for the reply. I hope this release will not take too much time - since currently I can not recompile any software of ours without loosing support for TChart.
Best regards
Christian

Dear Christian,

We are working to have a beta installer for XE4 and source code version ASAP. A full maintenance release will follow up. Stay tuned!
