I installed TeeChartStandard 2012 RAD XE2 (Buid 2012.07.121105) on my XE2 Delphi and I get the error message:
DclTee916.bpl cannot be installed because it's compiled with another Delphi version.
I use Delphi XE2 update 3.

Thank you for your prompt anwer. I will not install Delphi Update 4, because I use many third party packages and my IDE worked fine until I started to install the new TeeChartStandard version.
Please tell me which TeeChartStandard version is compatible with my system. I have Delphi XE2 (16.0.4358.45540, 2011) Update 3, Windows 7 64 bit.

I tried TeeChartStandard v2011 Build 2011.04.41118 with the same result: DclTee916.bpl cannot be installed because it was build with another delphi version.

Hi Thermo,

That's strange, the Build 2011.04.41118 was compiled with XE2 Update 3 as you can read in the note below the installer.

Note: RAD XE2 with Update 3 is required (installer for RAD XE2 with Update 4 available soon).
Source code customers can recompile the component with TeeRecompile tool.

Have you tried selecting the packages manually in the packages list in the IDE?

That's what I thought too.
The FMI and FMX Components are ok, but DclTee916.bpl is not accepted. I select it manually, no chance.
What can I do?

If your IDE is a Starter version without ado, note the packages to install are named DclTeeStd916.bpl and DclFMXTeeStd916.bpl.

I too am unable to install. Just purchased and down loaded, tried to install and received the message:

Cannot load package 'Tee916.' It contains unit 'VCLTee.TeeGDIPlus', which is also contained in package 'Tee9160'

Installed updates:
Delphi XE2 Update 4 HotFix 1
Help Update 6 for Delphi XE2

This is a bit different than the error message that make the initial customer, THERMO, to open this thread.

The error message "Cannot load XXX. It contains unit XXX, which is also contained in package XXX0" indicates that the TeeChart package that was shipped with the IDE (TeeXXX0) is still trying to be loaded, and this creates a conflict with the version you've just installed.
Please, unselect the TeeChart Standard package Tee9160, and you should be able to safely select the TeeChart Pro package.

So I should only have:
TeeChart Standard 2012 FMI Components and
TeeChart Standard 2012 FMX Components checked
and
TeeChart Standard 2012 Components unchecked?

Sorry, you are a TeeChart Standard customer, not a TeeChart Pro one.
When a package is selected in the list, you can see the route to it. The packages from the IDE installation shouldn't be installed (selected), and the packages from the TeeChart installation should be installed (selected).

They all point to the Steema folder as you can see... and I have rendering problems as noted in post made a few moments ago...

In that image I see the "TeeChart Standard 2012 Components" package points to the TeeChart Standard installation, but this package is unselected.
If, when you select it, you get any error indicating there is a conflict with another package, please search for the package that enters in conflict with it, and unselect it. I see you have some 3rd party tool packages installed. They could be using the TeeChart Standard package shipped with the IDE, so please try to unselect them. If you find the conflict is caused by a 3rd party tool package, please contact the manufacturer to get instructions on how to rebuild it to make it use the TeeChart Standard installed version.
