I took your suggestion and used the protcted variable "InternalUse", this works fine for the "old" chart editor as none of the "internal" charttools are visible in the tool list. However, when the chart editor is used in "tree" mode, the internal tools appear as nodes in the "tree" but are not editible. I would like them to not be visible at all. I am using Teechart 7 for VCL with sources.
