Hello Steema

I have installed the TeeChart 2012 Pro on my Delphi XE2, and thank you for personal help, the component are now apparently installed successfully.
BUT - I now discover that on my TeeChart palette, there are no DataAware TBDChart component.

Any suggestions?

Hi Anders,

I'm not sure about what "DataAware TBDChart component" is. It sounds as a 3rd party component integrating TeeChart within it. If so, please contact the manufacturer of the component because Steema Software only supports the TeeChart integrations in QuickReport and IntraWeb components.

For sure - it's a Steema component, and it has been this from day 1
In my Delphi 2006 (my old one) it was placed on the TeeChart palette.
I have looked in the forum, and there I got the info that it was moved to the "Data Controls" palette, but there it's also not.
The name of the component is "TDBChart"

Hi Anders,

"TDBChart" is a Steema component, "DataAware *" not.
Since you use RAD XE2, you could try writing "dbchart" in the toolbox (with the design view of a form visible) to search for the component in the whole palette.

Sorry for the word "DataAware" - it was my own word. (I thought that all components linked to database was "DataAware" - so forget that)

I tried to search DBChart on my search field, and there was no match.

Any suggestion?

Then it'll probably be that you have the Standard package installed instead of the Pro. Now I think I remember the problem with your TQRChart was the packages were referencing the DclTeePro916.bpl package and you had the DclTeeProStd916.bpl package loaded. Is it possible? Could you please check what package do you have installed in the packages list? You could try disabling DclTeeProStd916.bpl (and also the TQRChart package), try to install the DclTeePro916.bpl package in the packages list and see if the TDBChart component appears now in the list.

I have now all the needed components on my palette(s), and they work, and my projects can compile without problems
