Hi,

I've downloaded the new source code. Even though the installer crashed during the installation, but it appears that the source code has been installed. However, when I try to recompile, I got the following error msg.

TeeChart Pro
Compilation started: 10/5/2011 9:01:18 AM

RAD XE2.Win32 v16 (RAD XE v9 Professional) (C++)
Tee916

Cannot recompile Delphi package: Tee916.dpk
Embarcadero Delphi for Win32 compiler version 23.0
Copyright (c) 1983,2011 Embarcadero Technologies, Inc.

TeeConst.pas(11) Fatal: F1026 File not found: 'Classes.dcu'
EXCEPTION:
Compilation aborted.
--------------------------------------------

I did a search. Classes.dcu does not exists in XE2. What I found is System.Classes.dcu which resides in win32/release adn win32/debug directories.

What do I need to do to fix this issue.

Thanks.

Hello,

System.Classes.dcu is a file from the IDE. I can find 8 copies of it, at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\9.0\lib\osx32\debug
C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\9.0\lib\osx32\release
C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\9.0\lib\win32\debug
C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\9.0\lib\win32\release
C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\9.0\lib\win64\debug
C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\9.0\lib\win64\release

Can you find the files above?
Do you have the final RAD Studio XE2 release (not a beta) and the Update 1 installed? Here it is 16.0.4276.44006.

It looks like that TeeChart for XE2 was not installed after all. On a separate post I've reported that the TeeCahrt for XE2 installer crashes every time I run it. I'll have to resolve that issue before I can continue.

Thanks

Hello Bill,

If I'm not wrong, you've just installed it successfully in another machine. If you still have this problem (or any other), don't hesitate to let us know.
