Problem installing Teechart2010 Pro in Delphi6

I am trying to install the component TeeChart2010Pro in delphi (version 6.0 build 6.240) UpdatePack 2.

The installation process recommended to recompile the decisioncube. When I try to do this,
I get a "compilation aborted".

Now, I'm trying to install it manually, but in step 6 (installation file) I get the message
"Never-built package 'tee96' must be recompiled" when I try to compile dss.dpk.

I've checked the default option and the rebuild as needed, but it doesn't work.

What should I do?

Hi ram,

For using TeeChart 2010 in Delphi 6 you'll need all Delphi 6 updates available which comprises: Update 2, RTL Update 2 and RTL Update 3. Does this solve the problem at your end? You could also install the TeeChart packages and try to compile the Decision Cube packages manually later one you have the TeeChart packages working.

Once I have installed the RTL update 3 at delphi 6, the component TeeChart2010 Pro it was installed successfully!
The decisioncube step was completed without errors.

Although the teechart was installed, when I execute delphi I get two messages.
The first one: "This application can't be inicialized because it wasn't found DclTee96.bpl. The reinstallation of the application can correct this problem"
The second one: "Can't load package d:\arquivos de programas\borland\Delphi6\bin\dcldss60.bpl. Do you want to attempt this package the next time a project is loaded?"

I can't compile successfully any delphi project using the TeeChart2010Pro installed.
I always get a "Unit TeeProcs was compiled with a different version of System.RTLVersion" message.

What should I do?

Hi ram,

It's most likely that your IDE still tries to load the old installation TeeChart packages. Please, check that the old TeeChart is uninstalled in the packages list in your IDE. Check also that the TeeChart path has no refernce to an old installation and check that the TeeChart path is on the top of the search path.

Unfortunately, I still can not compile the project using the component TChartPro2010!

I wonder if there is any number so I can talk with someone from support regarding the installation of the product.
It's been a week since I'm trying to install the product.

I removed (Deleted even cleared) the following options from "project -> options -> packages":

TeeChart Components
TeeChart for QuickReport Components

No longer showing the two error messages that appeared at the opening of delphi.
However, the error in the compilation remains the same.

When I try to compile the project the error appears...
"Unit TeeProcs was compiled with a different version of System.RTLVersion"

This error message still indicates your Delphi 6 has not all udpates available installed. You mentioned you had installed RTL update 3 but you should also have installed RTL update 2 as they are not cumulative. Once your Delphi 6 has *all* updates installed (Update 2, RTL Update 2 and RTL Update 3) please try installing TeeChart again and check paths are set as Yeray reported.

I managed to do the installation TChartPro2010 successfully after installing Update 2, RTL 2 and rtl3 in Delphi 6, as you had requested.
