Delphi XE

Hello,

I installed TeeChart Pro 2010 Full Source Code and recompiled everything for Delphi XE.
It seems, that the installation of the BPL / DCU files does not work,
because - not backup directory is created and the old files are still in place,

e.g. in C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\8.0\lib\win32\release

so is there a fix or do I have to do the install manually ?

Hi Nils,

The easiest option is using TeeRecompile tool shipped with the source code installer. Do you get any specific error message so that we can advise on how to solve it?

I could not Upload a log file - the board does not allow it -
and it's to long for this text field ...

I've attached a hardcopy from the Delphi XE directory ..

Hi Nils,

Do you have the "Install the packages into IDEs" checkbox enabled when running TeeRecompile?

Yes, I have.

I have Delphi 2007 / 2010 / XE installed. 2007 and 2010 are okay. Just XE is not working correctly.

What about the binary installer for XE? Also, we are now testing the installers for the final 2010.01 release and the source code installer worked for XE here.

I tried,

the system says installed - no error messages - but in the lib path - still the old
Delphi XE files - no backup directory.

Hi Nils,

We have just posted the new v2010 maintenance release. Can you please check if new installers solve the problem at your end? Do you have any other machine with the same IDE where you can make the same test? It maybe a fault with IDEs installation.
