Hello,
i use Delphi 2010 with TeeChart 8.06 pro. In a TChart with a iso surface i need to use a subchart with a histogram series. The datasource for this histogram should be the data of the iso surface. But if i select on the series datasource page in the chart editor of the subchart the dropdown combo box to select the specific series, the dropdown combo box is always empty. If i use a second chart as replace of the subchart the dropdown combo is filled with all series from all tcharts on the form. But we have to use a subchart because the chart with the iso series and the chart with the histogram series must be drawn and exported on one picture.

no, because my problems has nothing to do wit datasets or databases. Only your page for selction has the name 'datasource'. On the page you can select if the datasouce is random or is a function or is a other series. If i select on this page a other series as datasource the dropdown combobox is allways empty as shown in the picture subchart.jpg.

Yes, that's a known issue already in the wish-list to be implemented in future versions (TV52013178). But note that this is not a trivial issue, it's implementation should imply deep changes in TeeChart core.

To obtain a bitmap from two charts your could do something similar to this
